We are Gerard (33) and Serafín (37) from Spain. Our love story began 16 years ago in 2009 when we met by chance at a small café in our hometown. It was love at first sight and although it took two months to talk to each other, the moment we did, our lives just changed forever. Despite that both of us were still studying, we moved together pretty soon and started our live project.

We got married in 2016 surrounded by our family and friends and one year later we got a big promotion at work that led us to travel the world together! We’re currently living in South east Asia for work, we both have promising careers in the fashion industry. Serafin works in one of the world’s biggest fashion companies handling the sourcing and production teams and Gerard is the commercial manager in an American multinational company who supplies labeling and security systems for the fashion industry too. The fact of living here temporarily gave us the opportunity to travel a lot in this part of the world, so we had the chance to visit amazing places like Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Philippines… We both love to travel and discover new places and new cultures. Even though we love this temporary chapter of our lives, our heart is always in our home town, close to our family and friends. We have a very strong relationship based on trust and confidence in each other. After these years, we know each other perfectly and sometimes we don’t even need to talk to know what each other is thinking.

We’ve always thought about being fathers, but it has been the last 2 years since we really started research and taking steps to make it a reality. On our first trip to Canada, we fell in love with the country, its people and mostly with its civism. We have chosen Canada because we think it is the most ethic country where the process matches with our values, morals, and ensure that our surrogate has all the guarantees and protection during the whole process to feel the experience as something beautiful as it will be for us.

We have gotten seven (7) frozen euploid PGT-A tested embryos, 4AA, 4AA, 4AB, 4AB, 4BA, 4CB, 3BB from both of us.

We both are from the south of Catalonia, a small town in the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in a wonderful and beautiful area which is declared biosphere reserve by the UNESCO, The Ebro Delta, which is the delta region of The Ebro River, the longest and most discharged river in Spain. We both grew up in this privileged environment surrounded by nature, family and friends, and we can’t wait to go back there to raise our child close to our roots and our supportive network.

Our small family has 2 more members that we would like to mention, our lovely doggies Mika (15) and Bruce (11), and in our heart, we will always have Max, our 20-year-old dog that passed away recently.

We want you to know that in this whole process, our priority is you. You’ll feel pampered and cuddled with all your needs covered from the very first moment until you are recovered and sound.

We will love to be fully transparent with our child, talking openly about their origins and give them the opportunity to know the amazing woman who made it possible.
