About

It all started back in September of 2011 when Ramon and I first met at his sister’s wedding. That following week, we attended school at the University of Saskatchewan in the College of Arts and Science program. Oddly enough, we crossed paths once again when we noticed that we were taking a couple of the same classes. We sat next to each other and after a few days, Ramon asked to be study partners. Over time we began to spend time together outside of school and that’s when we realized that our friendship was becoming stronger. Three years later, Ramon took a chance and asked me out on a date and the rest became history.

My name is Crystal-Ann! I am 32 years old, born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. Canada. I work as a Surgical Booking Administrator and Medical Administrative Assistant at Broadway Obstetrics and Gynecology in Saskatoon. Growing up in a large family, I am the youngest amongst my siblings. I have an older sister, brothers who are twins and I am a proud Aunt of my nephew and niece. Being surrounded with such a loving and supportive family made me realize that one day I would love to have one of my own.

Ramon is 32 years old, born in Malino Philippines and moved to Saskatoon, SK. Canada when he was 5 years old. Ramon works as a Dental Technician at Carlton Dental Labs in Saskatoon. He also comes from a large family and is the youngest amongst his siblings. In his family he has 2 older sisters, in which one of them has a son and 2 daughters and an older brother who has a daughter as well.

About 6 years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 3-4 Chronic Kidney Disease, Hemoglobin H Disease, Alpha Thalassemia, and Splenomegaly. In June of 2020, I underwent a splenectomy surgery to remove my enlarged spleen. Living with a rare combination of medical conditions and seeing many specialists over the years, we have decided that it would not be safe for me to conceive naturally. Truthfully, that was one tough pill to swallow even to this day. The unbearable thought of me unable to experience the feeling of pregnancy made me feel as if the option was taken away from me. Luckily nowadays, there are many alternatives to build a family, one of them being through surrogacy which I am eternally grateful to have this opportunity to go through this journey with our future surrogate mother. I know going through this life-changing experience won’t be easy, but I am glad that I have the support of our families, friends, and my loving husband Ramon. We officially have 4 PGT tested embryos that are currently frozen at the Aurora Reproductive Care Clinic in Saskatoon.

In 2018, Ramon and I purchased our first home in the lovely neighborhood of Stonebridge in Saskatoon, SK. Canada. In our neighborhood, there are many amenities such as parks, walking paths, playgrounds, and essentials like, grocery stores, pharmacy and elementary schools all within walking distance.

Ramon and I have been together for 10 years as of April 2024 and married for over a year since October 2022. Both currently living in our own house in Saskatoon, SK. Canada with our 1-year-old dog named Kenji. We enjoy the outdoors, sports, weekly coffee dates, traveling, and spending time with our family and friends. Being raised by both family-oriented, welcoming, and loving families, Ramon and I have decided to build a family of our own and start this new chapter of our lives. Even though our journey may be a bit different than others, this is our way to become the loving parents we want to be with the help of our surrogate mother.

As we become first time parents and going through surrogacy, we intend to support our surrogate mother in any way necessary whether it’s financially, emotional support and overall being present and available at all times of the day.

Throughout the pregnancy we will provide the on going support that our surrogate mother will need. However, after pregnancy we are open to maintaining communication updates on how we and the baby are doing.

As future intended parents, we promise to do our best to be there for you in all the ways that we can and to provide the support you need. We cannot wait to build a relationship and go through this special journey with our future surrogate mother. Please consider choosing us to help complete our growing family.

With Love,

Ramon & Crystal-Ann 🇨🇦
