Hi there! We are Joshua and Michael, a loving same-sex male couple from the Greater Toronto Area, and we are thrilled to introduce ourselves to you as we embark on the incredible journey of expanding our family. We’re seeking a surrogate to help us make our dream of parenthood a reality, and we are deeply grateful for your consideration and willingness to play such an important role in our journey.

We’ve been together for almost 9 wonderful years, and we have always shared the dream of becoming dads. Our lives have been filled with love, laughter, and joy, especially with the companionship of our five-year-old Yorkshire terrier, Joey, who is the heart of our home. We can’t wait for Joey to become a big brother, and we’re so excited to grow our family with the addition of a little one.

A little about us:
• Joshua – I’m 35 years old and grew up in London, Ontario, in a close-knit Portuguese family. Being a first-generation Canadian has given me a deep sense of family and community. I pursued my Honours Business Administration degree at the Ivey Business School and have spent over 13 years working as a Chartered Professional Accountant. I currently work for a publicly traded mining company based in downtown Toronto and enjoy staying active outside of work.
• Michael – I’m 33 years old and grew up in Brampton, Ontario, surrounded by the vibrant traditions of my large Italian family. I’ve always had a creative side, playing piano and guitar growing up and loving to cook and draw. I have a Communications Degree from the University of Guelph and work as a marketing manager for a global consulting firm headquartered in Toronto. I enjoy planning events, hosting gatherings, and ensuring that everyone feels welcome and loved.

Our journey together:
We met in early 2017 through Tinder, and although we didn’t realize it at the time, we actually attended the same spin classes in downtown Toronto! From there, we quickly became best friends, and our relationship blossomed into a loving, long-term partnership. We both share a love for travel, food, and life’s adventures, and we balance each other beautifully. Joshua is financially savvy and a meticulous planner, and Michael is the creative, adventurous and spontaneous one. Together, we make a great team.

In 2020, we bought our first home just down the street from Michael’s family, and we’ve enjoyed turning it into our sanctuary. That same year, we welcomed Joey into our lives, and in 2021, Joshua proposed to Michael. We married in 2023 in a beautiful ceremony at the historic Distillery District in downtown Toronto.

Our dream of parenthood:
Becoming fathers has always been part of our vision for the future. We’re already proud uncles to two wonderful nephews, and we are so excited to bring a child into our lives. Our families are incredibly supportive, and we both have flexible careers that allow us to work from home, ensuring that we can provide a loving and nurturing environment for our future child.

We truly believe in creating a home full of love, laughter, and curiosity; a place where kindness and joy can thrive. Our child will always be surrounded by the support and love of family and friends, and we’re eager to share all of life’s wonderful experiences with them.

A glimpse into the future:
We want you to know that if you choose to be our surrogate, our child will be raised in a home filled with love, respect, and an unwavering commitment to their well-being. We have a strong support system of family and friends who will be closely involved in our child’s life on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Our lives are rich with connection, laughter, and warmth, and we are excited to share that with our future child.

Our weeks are often filled with family dinners, birthday parties, extracurricular activities, and spontaneous outings. We cherish these moments of joy, but we also value the balance of spending quality quiet time at home in our sanctuary. We have created a space that is not only a house but a home—one where our child will feel safe, supported, and free to explore their world in a loving environment. Whether it’s learning new skills, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying cozy evenings together, we are committed to creating a well-rounded and fulfilling life.

One of the key facets of our lives is the importance of travel. We believe it’s vital for our child to grow up with a broad perspective, exposed to diverse cultures, languages, cuisines, and worldviews. Our goal is to nurture a sense of curiosity and adventure, encouraging our child to embrace the beauty of the world in all its forms. Currently, we travel internationally at least three times a year, and that’s something we’re committed to continuing as our family grows. We want our child to experience the magic of different cultures, from exploring bustling cities to relaxing on white-sand beaches, and everything in between. We’re excited about the opportunity to introduce them to new places, people, and ideas, fostering a deep sense of understanding and appreciation for the diversity of the world.

As parents, we want to give our future child the gift of a well-rounded upbringing, one that’s rooted in love, adventure, and a lifelong thirst for knowledge. We want them to feel empowered to follow their dreams, build strong relationships, and embrace the richness of the world around them. We are so grateful for the chance to provide this kind of future, and your role in making that possible is something we hold in the highest regard.
