Fifteen years ago, a chance meeting at a college party sparked something extraordinary, like two puzzle pieces finally fitting together. Since then, including 8 years of marriage, we have grown side by side, building a beautiful life filled with shared dreams, silly adventures, and unwavering love.

Family is very important to us. We are lucky to be close with our seven wonderful nieces and nephews. We make it a priority to spend as much time as possible with them. We enjoy hosting sleepovers, getting creative with arts and crafts, and playing sports. These moments are not just about having fun, they are also about teaching and helping them grow into thoughtful, kind, and confident individuals. We also take great pride in celebrating their talents, attending their school showcases, and cheering them on at their sporting events. We are both very close with our parents and siblings, and those relationships are filled with love, laughter, and deep mutual support. We truly cherish the times when we all come together as a family for Friday night dinners, birthdays, and special events. The strong sense of family we have is something we are passionate about and drives our desire to create the same loving, supportive environment for our future child.

While trying to start our family, we have spent over six years on an emotional and challenging journey filled with hope, heartbreak, and perseverance. We have worked with countless doctors and undergone numerous tests and procedures. While the embryos we have created have been healthy, high quality, and genetically normal, we have still faced the heartache of not being able to conceive. Each new treatment brought renewed optimism, but time and time again, we were met with disappointment. Through it all, we maintained our dream of having a child to love. After many unsuccessful transfer attempts and unanswered questions, the doctors told us we should search for a surrogate to finally make our dream of a family come true. It has been a difficult path, but we are determined to keep moving forward.

We bought a home five years ago in the hopes of growing our family. It is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood in west central Montreal. We are steps away from family and close friends, and also within walking distance of several schools and community programs. Our home has two spare bedrooms that are ready to become nurseries when the time comes.

We are a couple who love learning, growing, and enjoying life together. We love cooking and getting creative in the kitchen with new recipes. We enjoy traveling to new places as much as we love exploring our hometown like tourists. We also make it a point to nurture our individual passions. Lindsey immerses herself in the world of art, constantly experimenting with new mediums. She works as a psychotherapist, helping individuals navigate personal growth and mental wellness, build healthier relationships, and strengthen their sense of self-worth and confidence. Daniel is passionate about sports, politics, history, and science. He works as a doctor in central Montreal at an academic hospital where he trains young physicians while caring for the community. Together, we are a dedicated couple with a shared commitment to compassion, care, and responsibility.

We are fully committed to supporting our surrogate emotionally, physically, and financially throughout the entire journey. We will ensure all of her medical, legal, and other surrogacy-related costs are covered as best as we can while respecting the regulations.

We are committed to staying in regular contact throughout the process because it is important to us that she feels supported every step of the way. Throughout the pregnancy, we anticipate maintaining regular communication with our surrogate, at least once a month, either by phone, virtually, or in person while also respecting her boundaries. We also plan to attend the first and second trimester ultrasounds and are, of course, committed to being present for the delivery.
