Great you visit our profile. We are Boudewijn and Thomas, 32 and 34 years old.
We have been together for more than twelve years, we met at the study Spatial Planning at the University of Nijmegen. We lived in the same student house. First we became friends, and after a while we feel in love.

We live in the eastern part of the Netherlands, near the beautiful city of Nijmegen. This is the oldest city of the Netherlands, but with young vibes 😊 (student city). Our house is close to the river behind the dike, and we love to cycle and hike in this environment and to be in nature. It is an area with a lot of storks (literally and figuratively), so we hope this is a good sign. 😉

Boudewijn has two younger brothers, they are twins. Thomas has one brother. Three years ago, Thomas’ first nephew was born and recently (July 2024) his second and third nephew were born (twins). They are very cute and we really like to spending time with them as ‘guncles’, such as visiting the zoo or a playground. Although our wish to become parents was already there for a couple of years, the birth of Thomas’ nephews accelerated our choice to start making our dream come true.

Together we have explored and discussed all the options (adoption, co-parenting, foster care and surrogacy) for us to start a family as a gay couple. After visiting a Men Having Babies Conference in Berlin, we decided to proceed with international surrogacy in Canada.

We live in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood close to a city with a great downtown. Our house is large enough to have multiple children and is surrounded by a lot of playgrounds and green areas.

Boudewijn works as a strategist at the Dutch high voltage grid operator for more than five years now. He is very passionate about it because I can contribute to the energy transition and making the world a better place for future generations. Boudewijn also loves to read, and to row on the water with the view on downtown Nijmegen.

Thomas works as an urban planner at a municipality. He also likes to read and loves music and sing along with it (sometimes he hits the notes better than other times ;p). Another hobby for him is photography; he likes making beautiful pictures, especially of landscapes, nature and on holiday trips.

We both like to go to the movies, doing escape rooms with friends and go out for dinner with family and friends. We also love to travel and to do city trips, especially in France, Italy, Spain and the UK. Our favorite region so far in Europe is Andalucia (Spain). It is the perfect mix of culture, nature, history, food, and nice weather.

We are open for regular communication to make sure you get the support that you need. And of course we will take care of all reimbursements related to the surrogacy.

We think openness and mutual respect are very important values in the contact with the surrogate. At least before and during the pregnancy we would like to have regular contact with the surrogate. After the birth we also like to be connected, the frequency is also depending on what the surrogate feels comfortable with.

We cannot wait to give all our love to our child, to make him/her/them happy, and also feel the joy of having a child in our life. It would be an honor to find a great woman who wants to help us making our life complete.
