About

Hello! Thanks for stopping by our profile. Before introducing ourselves, we want to say that no words can express the gratitude we have for women considering being, have been, or who are surrogates. There are few gifts that are as life-changing and generous as the one you are considering. Every child born via a surrogate undoubtedly has created a completeness within a family that truly lasts a lifetime, and that’s because of people like you.

The first thing we want you to know about us is that our relationship with a surrogate would be guided by you, based on good communication and a deep appreciation and respect for you. Recognizing that each person’s surrogacy experience is different, we would take your lead on the nature of our relationship as we embark on this journey together.

We have family and friend connections in many parts of the country. We would be thankful to connect with a surrogate anywhere in Canada. We would like to connect with you as much as possible while also respecting your needs and privacy.

About Us –

We’re Trevor and Ben. We both grew up in rural parts of Canada (Trevor in Ontario and Ben in BC) in close-knit families. We met in 2015 and vividly recall discussing our hope of becoming parents (on our third date)! Since then, Trevor finished medical school and residency and Ben law school and articling.

Family is at the centre of our lives. We have settled out west where we are surrounded by extended family – parents, siblings, and nieces & nephews. We love being uncles, but we’re hoping to start a family of our own.

One of the main things we love about living on the West Coast is that it feels like a great place to raise a family. We love the abundance of outdoor activities, and live somewhat of a quieter lifestyle. That’s why we landed on Vancouver’s North Shore after several years of living in the Kitsilano neighbourhood. We’ve been living in West Vancouver for four years. We’ve made lifelong friends, are closely connected to our community, and continue to appreciate all that our corner of BC offers. We enjoy going back to Ontario and the Kootenays each year as we maintain many connections in those locations.

Should we be so fortunate, our child will be deeply loved and we aim to raise a person who will contribute to the world while being kind, resilient, and curious. We’re both active people who appreciate nature and have a desire to preserve it, and we’d like to pass these qualities on to our child as well.

About Trevor:
I initially completed a civil engineering degree and then worked in engineering but now I work as a physician. I enjoy sailing, hiking, skiing (cross country and downhill), tennis, board games, and doing some baking (specifically browned butter cookies from Whitewater Cooks). I’m an avid reader and enjoy history. I’ve put a lot of time into making our house feel like a home and would love to expand our family.

About Ben:
I was called to the bar in 2018 and then worked as a lawyer. Prior to that I worked as a critical care/ICU nurse. I teach health law as an adjunct professor at the UBC law school. I like to exercise and be outdoors road biking, hiking, skiing or just taking a long walk around the neighbourhood. I especially love to cook and introduced my love of cooking (and several cookbook series, including Whitewater Cooks) to Trevor. I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I love page flipping a great illustrated cookbook. I’m also a bit of a news fanatic and enjoy keeping up with local and global politics.

Our Goal –

We’re here because we are hoping to meet a special person who is willing to help us build a family. To us – there is nothing more important in life. We envision a surrogacy experience that is rewarding for everyone involved. We hope to meet a surrogate who we can share the journey with – both the ups and downs.

We would make it a priority to ensure that your pregnancy needs are met. We would want to express our gratitude in every way possible, and of course, cover all of your pregnancy-related costs. We also understand the importance of good communication, and would want to ensure that your own personal boundaries are respected.

We would love to meet you and get to know you!
