In 2012, the world was predicted to end, even got a movie on the subject. That’s the year we met and on the contrary our world proliferated. We met at our workplace back in India and developed feelings. The day we confessed to each other was also the day Priyanka told that she’d be going to Canada for further studies. After 5 years of long distance inter-continent relationship, Ashish moved to Canada and we married in 2017. It’s been a roller coaster since then and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Both of us grew up in India and had the best childhood one can have. Ashish has one younger sister and Priyanka has two elder brothers. So you can imagine, Priyanka is the pampered one and Ashish is the responsible one. Both of us are very close to our parents. Our family has been our pillar of strength and their belongingness is what drives us through this journey.

Priyanka has rheumatoid arthritis which caused her right hip replaced. She has days when she can’t sleep because of pain. Amidst all this, we tried conceiving naturally for a couple of years. We then tried IUI, 4 IVF cycles and one embryo transfer. At last, we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We have 2 PGT tested Embroys left. Surrogacy remains our only option to have a biological family.

Home is where your heart is. Kitchener, Ontario has been our home since we have been together in Canada. We own a bungalow here. It’s a great close knit community where we live and we have got some really good friends who are our family away from home.

We both work in Information Technology as is evident from our love story. Ashish enjoys reading and sports. Priyanka enjoys cooking, exercise and mobile games. We both enjoy each other’s company. We like cooking together.

Fate brings us onboard for this journey and we are grateful that you chose to be part of our story. All three of us are going to remember it for the rest of our lives and we will ensure it’s a happy memory. Of course, we will cover all the expenses incurred during the time including groceries, travel, medical, maternity clothing and whatever else may arise. More than this, we want to be a trusted companion and your support system in whatever capacity you may need in all phases of this journey.

Mutual respect is the basis of every human relationship and this is the kind of relationship we will have. We would like to be part of this pregnancy as much as possible be it hospital visits, ultrasounds, appointments etc, all within your comfort zone. After all of what we would have gone through after pregnancy, it would be our wish to be part of each other’s life in some shape and form in a mutually agreeable way.

Ours is going to be a unique relationship which will start with legalese before we even know each other but then will have the potential to become the most beautiful humane relationship possible. The emotions we are going to share will be rare, raw and pure. It will be our privilege that we share these emotions with you.
