We met in our early 20s through mutual friends while we were in college, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Our relationship quickly grew into a deep partnership built on trust, shared values, and mutual respect. Over the years, we’ve navigated life’s ups and downs together, which has only strengthened our bond and deepened our commitment to each other.

Now, 15 years later, we’re excited to begin the next chapter of our lives by becoming parents. Our journey has been filled with love, laughter, and fond memories, and we can’t wait to bring those same values into our family life.

We were both raised in close-knit families, where love, support, and shared values played a central role. These experiences shaped our belief in the importance of family and the joy that comes from building meaningful relationships. Our parents instilled in us the value of creating a happy and fulfilling life, which we aspire to pass on to our own future children. Family is at the heart of who we are, and we truly look forward to creating beautiful memories together with our little ones.

We faced a tough journey when Mary was diagnosed with uterine cancer, which means she can’t carry a pregnancy. Thankfully, she has been cancer-free for 2½ years now. Through it all, we have remained hopeful and strong. We decided to try IVF and were lucky enough to have 10 healthy frozen embryos, each one bringing us closer to becoming parents. We are truly excited to partner with a surrogate to make our dream of having a family come true, and we are filled with gratitude for this opportunity to start this journey.

We both grew up in vibrant communities, Mary in Jersey City, NJ, and Enrique in Union City, NJ, which shaped our values and love for family. Now, we are excitedly in the process of purchasing a home and carefully exploring cities known for their excellent education systems. Our goal is to provide our future child with the best opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive. Wherever we settle, we are committed to creating a warm and nurturing environment filled with love, support, and new family traditions.

Enrique, 37, is a passionate electrician who also proudly serves in the US National Guard. His work gives him a sense of purpose, and he enjoys mentoring younger generations to appreciate skilled trades. Mary, 36, works as an analyst in a FinTech company, where she thrives on solving complex problems and finding innovative solutions. Both are committed to continuous learning and personal growth in their careers.

In their free time, Enrique and Mary love cooking and experimenting with new recipes together—whether it’s trying unique cuisines or recreating favorite dishes. They also enjoy hanging out with their nephew Ethan and traveling, exploring new destinations, and making cherished memories on their adventures. Their playful puppy, Evie, adds a lot of joy and fun to their everyday life, and they love spending quality time with her.

Family and community are deeply important to them. They look forward to creating a home filled with love, laughter, and traditions and hope to raise their child in a welcoming environment that emphasizes learning and personal development. Their ideal day includes sharing meals with loved ones, playing with Evie, spending time together outdoors, traveling, enjoying hobbies like playing video games, watching TV, and listening to music.

We are dedicated to supporting our surrogate during her journey, from before the pregnancy through after the baby is born. We will take care of all her expenses related to the surrogacy, including medical visits and any other costs during the pregnancy. We also want to make sure she has everything she needs to recover after giving birth. Our goal is to build a trusting relationship so she feels valued and cared for every step of the way.

We want to have a strong and open relationship with our surrogate during and after the pregnancy. We plan to stay in touch regularly, sharing updates and celebrating milestones together. We will make every effort to be involved as much as possible and stay connected throughout the pregnancy.

After the baby is born, we’d love to stay in touch through messages, calls, or occasional visits. We want our surrogate to feel like a part of our family’s journey while ensuring she feels comfortable with whatever level of contact works for her. Building a friendly and respectful relationship is important to us, and we’re excited to share this experience together in a way that feels right for everyone involved.
