Twins Avery & Rayah - Born April 8th, 2015
Twin sisters Avery & Rayah.
Dear Sally and SCO,
When we started this journey almost 3 years ago we were completely lost! We were overwhelmed weeding through all the information on the internet, and other surrogacy websites left us frustrated and feeling as though we had no options. We decided to join Surrogacy in Canada Online and it turned out to be the BEST choice we ever made! Immediately after joining we realized that SCO was very different then all the other surrogacy websites! We quickly received the information and support we needed to properly start our search for a surrogate. We continuously received profiles of surrogates and had the opportunity to contact the surrogates we were interested in getting to know. It was as though a weight was lifted off our shoulders, as each profile was like an open door that we now had the choice of going through.
There were so many wonderful women whose profiles we viewed, but one special profile caught our eye and we matched. This match lead to perfect surrogacy journey and the birth of our beautiful twin daughters Avery & Rayah born April 8, 2015.
SCO was there there throughout the entire journey and the support our surrogate received was amazing. Between Sally, the Facebook groups, and the other surrogates, she was VERY well taken care of! I really feel like that support was imperative to the success of our journey!
I am 100% positive that we would not be where we are today without you Sally, and SCO. We would still be stuck searching in all the wrong places instead of cuddling our little bundles of joy!
Thank you times a million!!!

Baby Hugo - Born January 18th, 2015
John & Ross share their story...
We have utilized the services of Surrogacy in Canada Online since October 2012. We are a same sex married couple and have successfully brought into the world Baby Hugo in January 2015. We have had ups and downs like any couple seeking surrogacy to complete their family. Sally has always been there for both of us, helping to navigate through the many hurdles it has taken to bring a baby into this world. We have also been with another Canadian consultant and did not receive the same level of compassion, at SCO we do not feel like another transaction, we feel special and assisted through our journey. SCO does great things in bringing resources to those who need it, and by providing support through what has proven to be an overall amazing journey.

Baby B - Born July 17th, 2014
P&M's Surrogate Mother Veronique holding baby B shortly after his birth.
If it was not for you and your organization, we would have never found Veronique. She has been the most inspirational person we have ever met, and given us a gift we will spend the rest of our lifetimes in deepest gratitude. The surrogacy journey has been an amazing experience, though with its tribulations, just like anything worth achieving, it comes with a large degree of effort and dedication. We cannot say enough about your guidance and matching program.
Thank you from the bottoms of our heart!!

Twin Babies Mackenzie & Chloe - Born January 22nd, 2014
As I lay here thinking about our special event that happened this past weekend I can't help but think this would not be possible without the help of Sally and our wonderful surrogate Kate and her family.
Where to even start, how this all began...
As we sat in the dr. office we discussed whether we should try another embryo transfer. After 3 failed attempts and amazing quality embryos we hear the news again "Laurie you're not pregnant, lets try again next cycle". I was devastated. How hard could this be? I have 18 amazing quality embryos, a full term healthy pregnancy from a previous marriage and our fertility problems were unexplained. Four years later and still not pregnant.
The news hit me hard and as much as my husband wanted all our dreams to come true he just couldn't make it happen. Derek is a fixer he likes to fix things and make them better. He couldn't fix this problem my dreams were shattered and my heart was broken.
Every night Derek stayed up googling, and googling and more googling — he wasn't ready to give up yet and he knew somehow there was a way.
He googled and came upon this website surrogacy.ca and gave me a number to call and name of a person to speak too. The next day I called the number and asked to speak to Sally. I explained to her my whole situation and broke down crying. One simple statement Sally said to me "Laurie, just because an embryo transfer doesn't work with you, doesn't mean it won't work in someone else's body" - Was Sally my answer, could this person with no medical degree make all my, I mean all "our", dreams come true? My family dr., OB, fertility Dr couldn't help me how could this lady who I never met give me one straight answer and I am hanging on her every word as she is speaking to me. Maybe you don't need a professional medical degree to help us create our dreams maybe you need an "ANGEL".
We joined Sally's website and we too became "Intended Parents". I emailed Kate an experience surrogate who has had twins for another couple just the year before. Kate and I spoke for a good couple of hours on the phone and the next thing I knew she was emailing me to "fill my 7 seater car". As I laid in bed that night way too excited to fall asleep I was thinking all night... could this be happening? I was wishing for a miracle, I dreamed of angels, and fairies with magical powers - this lady was married with two kids, lived in Victoria, and worked as well as her husband. Was I missing something? Where was her wand, her wings, her fairy dust? My angel was nothing that I have ever thought an angel would be — my angel looked just like me.
From February to May we got to know each other before the big transfer day. May 31st was the transfer - 2 embryo's and 2 days later I got a text with 2 lines that will forever change our lives!!!!!!!!!!!!
On January 22nd 2014 our beautiful twin girls Mackenzie and Chloe were born in Victoria BC.
I'll never forgot one question I was asked by the psychologist who did our evaluation — "Derek and Laurie when your baby/babies get older will you one day tell them who they came from? Our reply was of course yes! I am changing my answer, I will never sit down and tell them who they came from. They will always grow up knowing! I ask them all the time "Who's tummy did you come out of? MAMA Kate" and one day when they can talk they too will reply "Mama Kate"
Kate and and her husband Andrew flew in for this very special event - Mackenzie and Chloe were named in the jewish faith at a synagogue. As they were touching the torah, Kate and Andrew were smiling from ear to ear as if they were the proud parents looking at their own kids.
Our surrogacy journey will never come to an end — as one door closes the other one just begins.

Baby Grace - Born November 23rd, 2013
Our little Grace Elaine was born on November 23. She weighed in at 8 lbs 10 ounces. She is so alert: a beautiful, healthy baby. I hold my daughter and it's so strange to think that we had almost given up hope of having a family. Words cannot express our gratitude to wonderful, generous, beautiful Lisa for making our dream come true.
Sally, you are an incredible person for doing the work you do.

Baby Liam - Born March 2nd, 2013
We have always believed that we were meant to be parents. After 13 years of marriage, however, starting a family seemed beyond our reach. We experienced 3 second trimester miscarriages, and each loss affected us deeply. We were one of those couples who were embarrased and did not want to discuss infertiltiy. Unsure of where to turn, we searched for alternative ways to have a child and considered beginning a surrogacy journey. At first, the prospect of embarking on a surrogacy journey felt overwhelming. There were so many questions to consider: how do we find the right surrogate? What are the legal issues involved? Fortunately, Sally guided us through the process with expertise, patience and compassion. With Sally’s help, our dream of starting a family once again felt attainable. Sally worked diligently to make sure that we found the right surrogate.
We were very quickly matched with our surrogate, Soraya, with whom we immediately felt a deep and strong connection. We bonded over similar values and our love for Newfoundland, Soraya’s home province and the home of many of our family and friends. One of the most exciting moments of our lives occurred when we discovered that Soraya was pregnant with our baby. Throughout the pregnancy, we talked often with Soraya and her family and arranged visits to spend time together. Sally helped us navigate the often daunting legal questions associated with the surrogacy process. She connected us with helpful professionals who made complex situations clearer and more manageable.
Our precious baby boy Liam was born on March 2, 2013. We love him more every day. Words cannot express our gratitude to make our surrogacy such a phenomenal expereince. We will always be thankful to Sally for guiding us on our surrogacy journey and to Soraya for making our dream of a family a reality. Our son has truly changed our lives.
As we look back on this past year, we consider ourselves blessed to find this wonderful angel who carried our baby and has helped us realize dreams do come true. We owe so much to Soraya's family who welcomed us into their hearts and home. We are one BIG family and Liam will never forget his Tummy Mommy for giving him life.

♥ Upon Liam's first birthday and a special note to surrogate mother Soraya...
As you know we have climbed rocky mountains and God decided to bless us with Soraya who was kind enough to carry our baby.
For those who don't know the Grothe family, Soraya is a wonderful mom of five kids, Ethan, Hannah, Micah, Benjamin and Jael. She is married to a wonderful husband who is a pastor his name is Frederick. She was born in Fredericton and now lives in a small town called Springdale, Newfoundland. She home schools her kids and comes from a strong Christian background. In her spare time she enjoys baking, doing activities with her children and helping with church events. I met her a year ago and today we are as close as family .
We believe Disappointments are God`s way of saying I have something better, Trust in God, Have Faith and Be Patient. Today we believe God send this angel who is so unselfish in making a memorable difference.
The Lord takes, but he also gives and today we see his generosity in Soraya and our Liam. The Lord brought us together. Soraya truly walks with the Lord, as only a few could do what she has done with such joy, for us. May the Lord bless Soraya and her family abundantly.
Our dreams have come true, we are a family of 3. Disney movies, family dinners, bedtime stories, long cuddles, a messy house, sleeping by 9pm and hearing a little voice at 2 am.

Baby S - Born October 2nd, 2012
I did go through a lot of websites and people before I found Sally and Surrogacy in Canada Online. Although we have never met, Sally's dedicated and fantastically professional, yet unselfish help and assistance during this entire period have had a great and positive impact on me and my journey to parenthood.
My little girl was born on Octber 2 in BC and now back in QC I enjoy every single moment of her presence. Why didn't I do this before? I want to have more babies, a home full of babies! :-)
Thank you SALLY, for EVERYTHING!
All the best,
Baby O - Born 2011
We highly recommend Sally and Surrogacy in Canada Online for anyone seeking guidance and assistance on a surrogacy journey.
When we finally realized that surrogacy would be the only means of having a family of our own, we had no idea where to start and knew nothing about the process. We were very worried about not being able to find the right Gestational Surrogate.
After we met with Sally in person, we felt more confident and less anxious about our situation. She made us believe that we could indeed acheive our goal of having our own family.
Through Sally, we met a wonderful Gestational surrogate through whom we now have a beautiful baby daughter. We have maintained a warm relationship with our "Ontario Angel" and now consider her and her husband our friends.
Sally is clearly doing this to help people like us and for that, we will be forever grateful.

The process of trying to become a mother is daunting to say the least when faced with doctor visits, fertility treatments and just the overall feeling of being overwhelmed by the process. Layer on top of this the search for someone to then carry your baby for you adds not only more time and stress but also the daunting task of navigating through a process that is very complex. Sally makes ALL of this experience so much easier to navigate with her experienced guidance and thorough knowledge of surrogacy in Canada. When I finally met Sally I was already down the road of years of trying to become a mom. She was so helpful it was a ‘night and day’ experience to finally work with someone like her! She matched me with an angel of a GS who fully came on board to help me. I am still hoping for this dream to come true and I know that my ‘partner’ in this process is the best one around!
We are from CT and worked with Sally for over a year in 2003-2004. Sally is very knowledgeable about surrogacy, and was extremely helpful, conscientious, and accommodating. She was always available to answer our questions or look for solutions for the issues that arose. Through it all, Sally became a friend and we still correspond frequently. We highly recommend her!

I am writing this letter of reference for Sally with great pleasure.
After years of struggling with infertility, 10 IVF treatments we finally realized that we were not going to become pregnant despite great quality embryo’s and transfers. In 2006 we started researching surrogacy sites to see if this route would be the right path for us to go down to help build our family. After several months I built up the courage to post a question on a surrogacy site and this is how we came to meet Sally.
First I would like to say that Sally knows everything there is to know about surrogacy, the procedures and all legal issues involved. She helped us so much as we had found a potential surrogate in our own province, Sally was a huge support especially when our fertility clinics psychologist found our potential surrogate not really emotionally there to do a surrogacy. We decided not to go to another clinic to try again with this surrogate as after getting to know her a little we found that she was a little unsure about transferring more than one embryo, we wanted to transfer 2-3. She was nervous about a twin pregnancy and we were worried only transferring one embryo would lower the success rate. We thought to ourselves "what if the embryo split in two or three and she ended up pregnant with twins or triplets would she want to abort" the thought of this scared us so we decided to try and find a new surrogate.
All the while we were talking to Sally, we knew she was a successful surrogate that gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl and that she has a great relationship with the biological mom to this day. Finally a light bulb went off and we thought "what about Sally" within minutes I was on the phone calling Sally to let her know what was on our minds and to see if she was interested in becoming our surrogate. Without much hesitation she said "sure, I'd love to help, you both seem like a really nice deserving couple". Within days we were arranging appointments to doctors and our lawyers to see if this was even possible.
Well after many phone consults, blood tests, and ultrasounds we were finally given the green light to move ahead with hopefully Sally getting pregnant with our baby. In May we met Sally in person for the first time in the city where our fertility clinic was the day before the transfer. We loved Sally at once, she was so nice and down to earth and really cared and wanted badly to become pregnant with our baby.
The transfer went great, perfect embryos, Sally had a perfect lining with great blood flow. After the transfer we all went back to the hotel and watched movies all day and ate pizza. Sally was a real trooper through the whole 24hr bedrest she didn’t complain once. The next day we all went out to see the city sites and retired early and watched more movies. The next morning we had to drive Sally to the airport and we were really sad to say goodbye. All we had left to do was wait.
The next two weeks were torture, we talked to Sally everyday, on day 7 Sally took a home pregnancy test and it was positive, we were all so excited. The next day Sally did another one on a Clearblue easy and the test was negative, boy were we deflated, we hoped it was just too early and we would get Sally to do a First Response test again as it is the most sensitive test. The next day Sally did the F.R and it was sadly negative. Sally did many tests after this and again all negative and so was the bloodtest. I wasn’t sure who was more sad Sally or us. It just didn’t seem fair, everything went perfectly, why?
To this day we are still in very close contact with Sally, we email almost every week and she has even sent us a beautiful scented candle she knew I loved (she brought us a whole bunch of gifts including the same candle when we met and this was the same candle she sent me but I used it all up and they are only made in her hometown), I thought this was so nice of her. I have nothing but nice things to say about Sally and I know she is still to this day trying to help infertile couples with no profit to herself even though she is no longer a surrogate but is still trying to inform potential surrogates and potential parents all they need to know about the world of surrogacy.

All intended parents and anyone considering becoming a surrogate!
We are intended parents and clients of Surrogacy in Canada Online operated by Sally Rhoads-Heinrich. In the beginning we were overjoyed to find an Ontario based affordable service to assist us in our search for a traditional surrogate. But what support we have received thus far not only far exceeds our expectations but has helped to put us at ease in ways that not even professional practitioners were able to do. The sole reason for this is Sally Rhoads-Heinrich.
Sally is an experienced surrogate herself and she has written an outstanding step by step guide which is extremely user friendly and jam packed with all the information required from beginning to end. We personally have taken Sally’s book to at least two health practitioners we see and even they were blown away with all the information available to us in this guide. Being reassured by a doctor that we are on the right track with Sally’s guide book in hand was priceless to us.
Sally poses an extremely large scope in the area of surrogacy to share and she makes herself and her knowledge available one on one also. She thinks nothing of dealing with questions/concerns via email or on the phone. Anything over and above what is in her guidebook Sally is willing to answer. We have never called Sally with a question or concern and been told it is a bad time. She is available always to answer or reassure her clients. She also makes herself available to both intended parents and surrogates if needed to attend meetings, appointments etc, with them.
Sally exercises a strict code of confidence. Therefore both intended parents and surrogates can be assured knowing all personal information is and screening is safe with Sally. Information is only shared between intended parents and surrogate candidates once Sally gets the okay from both parties involved.
On a more personal note, Sally is an extremely kind and thoughtful person and is also an extremely patient person. We are a culturally diverse couple and also first timers to this and it is Sally’s sweet personality that has made being a part of Surrogacy in Canada Online probably the best thing to happen to us. We really love Sally a lot for all that she has done and continues to do for us. Please… if you are considering becoming an intended parent or a surrogate, do not hesitate to allow Sally to help you in your journey. You will not regret it for even a moment.
