In 2021, I became a parent through surrogacy in Canada, and it has been the most rewarding and joyful experience of my life. I was born and raised in a small seaside town in southern Italy, where I grew up with my two older brothers. I was fortunate to have a happy, stable childhood surrounded by family, community, and strong values. From an early age, education was important to me, and I was a dedicated student throughout school and college.

One of the most formative experiences of my life was studying abroad. Living in another country broadened my perspective and deeply influenced both my personal and professional path. Today, I work in study abroad programs in Italy, helping students have meaningful international experiences of their own and discover new cultures, just as I once did.

Becoming a parent has always been an important dream of mine. As a single man, surrogacy felt like the most natural and meaningful path for me to build the family I envisioned—one rooted in love, intention, and deep commitment. I approached this journey thoughtfully and with great care, knowing that creating a family in this way requires planning, responsibility, and respect for everyone involved.

I live in the heart of downtown Florence in a bright, welcoming apartment located on the top floor of a historic building from the 1800s. The apartment is filled with natural light and offers beautiful views over the city’s rooftops and bell towers. We are just a short walk from the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio, and the neighborhood is lively, safe, and full of history, culture, and community. Florence offers a wonderful balance of tradition and modern life, with nearby parks, schools, museums, and family-friendly spaces. It is a place where children are surrounded by art, beauty, and a strong sense of culture, and it is where I plan to raise my child in a loving, stable, and enriching environment.

I work in school administration for an international program that hosts students studying abroad in Italy. My job allows me to combine my love of education, cultural exchange, and organization, and it has given me a stable and fulfilling professional life.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active through sports, listening to music, and going to the movies. I love being outdoors whenever possible, especially walking along the beach and spending time in nature. Florence and the surrounding areas offer endless opportunities for walking, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors.

As a parent, I truly enjoy spending quality time with my child. We often go to the park, visit playgrounds, explore museums, and spend time in bookshops. I value curiosity, learning, and shared experiences, and I look forward to continuing these traditions while welcoming another child into our family.

Supporting my surrogate throughout the entire journey is extremely important to me. From the very beginning, I am committed to ensuring she feels respected, supported, and cared for at every stage.

Before pregnancy, I will cover all medical, legal, travel, and related expenses and make sure she get the needed support. I believe in open and honest communication, and I want my surrogate to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and setting boundaries. I value building a relationship based on trust and mutual respect.

During the pregnancy, I will continue to cover all pregnancy-related costs and expenses and any other agreed-upon expenses. I will be emotionally present, supportive, and flexible, respecting her needs and preferences while staying involved in a way that feels comfortable for her. My goal is for her to feel appreciated, safe, and supported throughout the pregnancy.

After delivery, I will continue to provide support during the postpartum period, ensuring all recovery-related expenses are covered and that she has the time, space, and resources she needs to heal. I deeply respect the physical and emotional commitment surrogacy requires, and I am committed to honoring and supporting my surrogate well beyond the birth.

Above all, I approach this journey with immense gratitude and respect for the incredible gift my surrogate is offering. I am dedicated to making this experience as positive, supported, and compassionate as possible for her.
