We first met on a bus in Winnipeg by chance when I was a student, but we still didn’t know each other at that time. Jiabin didn’t talk with me but remembered my face. He met me several times in the public library, and he recognized me every time. Fortunately, we had a friend who knew both of us and invited us to have a coffee, and then we started to date.

We are from loving families. I, Kun, was born in a small town. My dad was a lawyer and my mom was an accountant, my brother is seven years older than me. My parents love us so much and they spent lots of time with my brother and me when we were young, reading novels, playing games, camping, swimming. My husband grew up in a small village, with many pets like cats, dogs, goats through his childhood. He has six siblings, one owns a small business, one is a doctor, three are teachers, and he was a teacher too for more than ten years when he was in his hometown.

We want to become parents since we got married but never got a baby. We decided to try IVF since 2018, after several times of IVF/egg retrievals, we got 6 embryos, but PGS reported they were all abnormal. The doctor told us, I had poor egg quality, and suggested us to try donor eggs. Finally, we seek help from egg donor and got embryos PGS normally. I tried to transfer several times and all failed to implant, and our doctor couldn’t find out why I could not get pregnant with PGS normal embryos. I tried acupuncture, cupping and traditional medicine, but after all, we got tons of heart broken, then our doctor suggested us to seek help from angels like you.

I believe that between my experiences and Jiabin’s upbringing, our children will be surrounded by love and have very diverse yet balanced upbringing with lots of love coming from our extensive extended families. They will grow up with cats, dogs and rabbits, they will climb the mountain and play around the streamlet, lie down under the apple tree guessing which one is good and try, just like what we did when we were young.

We like reading, traveling, cooking, repairing, planting, DIY by hands. My husband has been volunteered in senior center for nearly 20 years, repairing microwaves, televisions etc.
